P.I.G.Z from Kortrijk Belgium where definitely one of the few first wave of punk bands worldwide, they started out in 1977, the year punk spread all over Europe...times of unemployment
and poverty where the best soundtrack to these nihilistic / disappointed bunch of snots. The growing threat of the Cold War and the growing far right gave 'No Future' a special meaning in the world of punk.
P.I.G.Z recorded a demo in 1977 that never saw the light of day...after playing a set on a Belgian punk contest back in MARCH 1978, and actually winning it, they got studio time as a price and recorded 3 short
bursts of solid fast-paced punk that took up only 8 minutes in total that ended up on 12"ep, which is nowadays one of the Crown Jewels worldwide to find and collect, with original copies fetching up to four figures, and finally back in print through cooperation with the band.
